Boise’s parks and recreation scene is something to boast about, as the city is rated “one of the 10 most active places to live” by Modern Maturity. Between parks, golf courses, community centers, gyms, and our local sports – Hawks baseball, Broncos football, and Steelheads hockey – Boise is full of things to do. There are also several ski resorts in the area, including Bogus Basin, about an hour drive into the nearby mountains; Sun Valley about three hours East; and Brundage near McCall, about two hours North.
